The object of Calypso is to make a three-in-a-row of the same top color. Each player has seven pieces with the same color combinations. There is one each: orange & red, red & purple, purple & blue, blue & green, green & yellow, yellow & orange, and brown & white. The brown & white piece is "wild". Each move, a player is allowed to do one of three things: move a piece from his reserve onto the board, invert one of his pieces already on the board without moving it, or move one of his pieces already on the board without inverting it. The "wild" piece must be the last one moved onto the board.
